Early Design Thoughts

Escape is a 3D puzzle game, made by unreal engine. Players need to find a way to open the doors of each room and escape by helicopter. This is a two-week project. My purpose is to make three puzzles in this game from easy to hard. Let players become more and more familiar with the idea of decryption of this game. My audience is those players who are not particularly precise and interesting about the plot requirements, but like to use their brains to think about deciphering.

What this game needs to think about is how to make players not feel that the difficulty of the puzzle has been increased too much. I have studied portal2 and Q.U.B.E. these two games, I found that the first puzzle is mainly used as a clue to decrypt and introduce new elements. My classmates helped me play test the game and gave me a lot of suggestions on how to increase or decrease the difficulty of the puzzles.

If I have more time working on this project, I will add more plots to fill the background story and make the game more resonable. Also the texture and game scene need more efforts.
